Today it has been announced by Pine Barrens Pictures that the next Craig Douglas film will be called ‘All The Wild Horses’.
The film will be based around a relationship which involves one of the characters suffering from dementia. It will have an insight into the struggles and the challenges of being diagnosed with the illness.
The title of the film comes from the Ray LaMontanga track of the same name, a song that Douglas heard when he watched the popular US show ‘Rescue Me’. The last two films he has made have both been named after songs.
Craig will write and Direct the film while it’s not yet confirmed if he will play a role in it like he has in his previous films. He said “I’m not exactly an actor but I will be a part of it if I have to”. Playing down the fact he won Best Supporting Actor at the New Jersey Film Awards in October for his portrayal of John in his last short film ‘Dead To The World’.
Production is due to begin at the end of May, with the film being shot in local locations like Redcar and around Teesside.
‘All The Wild Horses’ will be the first film of Craig’s that will be released under the banner of his new Production Company Working Class Films. Keep and eye out for more updates on the film via social media.
