Sleepwalker in the works!

Today it was announced that Middlesbrough born filmmaker will write the script for the Marvel Comics character Sleepwalker.

The story features around film student Rick Sheridan, normal New Yorker until one night an alien life form enters his mind and becomes a saviour for the city.

With talks still ongoing over the project, it is believed Douglas will write and direct the feature, this in the form as Scott Derrickson did for Dr Strange.

Rumours have it that 'In The Flesh' star Luke Newberry will play the lead character Rick Sheridan, the original comic book was created by Created by Bob Budiansky and Bret Blevins.

Douglas said that he wanted to bring a character that isn't well known in the universe and Sleepwalker is the perfect fit.
