‘The Last of The Living’ Craig Douglas is adapting “I Am Legend” in to a short film

Writer Craig Douglas is making a short Adaptation of the Richard Matheson novel ‘I Am Legend’.


Douglas will write, direct and star in the short film version of Matheson’s 1954 novel, playing the lead character Robert Neville. He will be following such names as Will Smith, Horror legend Vincent Price and Mega movie star Charlton Heston who have all portrayed the main character in the film adaptations in the past.


Pre production has already started on the project with 1321 Pictures, the horror film company that is based in the United Kingdom.“A little teaser trailer will be released on Halloween (Sunday 31st October) and the film will be out in 2022“ said Douglas.


After this Craig is going straight in to the Stephen King short story of ‘Cain Rose Up’ the deal that Douglas signed earlier this month as part of The Dollar Baby project, that King runs to help and inspire independent film makers.
